As moms, we are constantly adapting to our kids’ changing development. We both anticipate and regret their passing from infants to toddlers, from children to adolescents. But how do we navigate the greatest adjustment yet to come? ADULTHOOD. As moms, are we now relegated to the pasture, left to merely watch from the sidelines? How do we redefine our new role since we’ve never done this one before? Join Pam, a mother of four adult children, as she shares five do’s and don’ts that will help lay the foundation for a healthy adult/child relationship.
While in the midst of an unwanted divorce, Pam clearly sensed the Lord revealing to her a future single mothers ministry. Today, as cofounder of Arise Single Moms, Pam is one of America’s leading advocates for single moms. She knows the challenges of single motherhood and invites mothers raising children alone to rise up and place Christ as the head of their household. In 2017, Pam was named National Mother of Achievement in Washington, DC. Pam and Rich have been married for 30 years where she’s Grammy Pammy to nine grandchildren. Her life motto fits her well: LET–IT–SHINE. Pam loves life and it loves her right back.
